The popular photo and video sharing platform, Instagram, is working on a new feature that will allow live streamers to add moderators during their streaming. The new feature is dedicated for the live content creators on the platform.

The news about the feature was revealed by the reverse engineer of the application named Alessandaro Paluzzi, who said that the company is working on a feature that will adding moderators to their live streams.

According to 9to5Mac, the feature will be added to the Live Settings of the application and the feature will make things easier for content creators to choose a moderator. Paluzzi told the publication that Instagram will allow users to add only one moderator to a live video.

The new feature is reportedly under development and it is not known as to when it will be introduced in the official application. As of now, it is not possible for users to add moderators to lives on Instagram.

The reverse engineer also revealed the ‘likes’ feature, similar to that of Facebook, except hitting ‘like’ is also available for Stories.

Similar to the number of views on their stories, users will also be able to see the number of likes they have received from their followers. The Instagram engineer also shared a picture of how the ‘likes’ will appear on the app, once the feature is released to the public.
