Scotland cricket team has qualified for the second round of the ICC T20 World Cup, for the first time ever. After defeating Oman, Scotland has now secured top position in Group B making it to Group 2 of the Super 12.
The team has now joined Afghanistan, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and the runners-up from qualifying Group A — either Ireland or Namibia.

Meanwhile, the second qualifier for Group 2 will be decided tomorrow. Scotland and Pakistan will face each other on November 7 in Dubai. PNG cricket team was chasing the 182-runs total set by Bangladesh, however they were all bowled out for 97 in 19.3 overs to hand the later their second straight win of round one in Muscat.
PNG is now out of the tournament with three straight losses.
