Singer Natasha Noorani’s song Choro will be featured in Amazon MiniTV short film Shimmy. Excited about her recent achievement, the singer shared the news on Instagram on Thursday.

Starring Indian actors Pratik Gandhi, Bhamini Oza and Chahat Tewani, Shimmy is about “a father who won’t stop at anything to make his daughter happy,” according to Amazon MiniTV’s Instagram.

Noorani also shared a snippet from the film’s trailer. “Absolutely thrilled to share that ‘Choro’ is a part of the soundtrack for Shimmy!” she said. “You can watch it tomorrow on Amazon MiniTv! Watch the trailer right now!”

Elated that her song is part of a project that includes Gandhi, Noorani wrote, “Also Pratik Gandhi on screen with my song at the back! How is this real?”

Released in May 2021, Choro held personal meaning for Noorani and was about her attempt to come to terms with heartbreak and loss.

The film airs on September 17, on the MiniTV streaming service on the Amazon shopping app (currently only available to users in India).
