The University of Central Punjab is fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship through its Takhleeq Business Incubator. The incubation program aims to empower entrepreneurs by equipping them with relevant skills and knowledge.

emphasizing on building a well-rounded entrepreneur through experiential learning. The incubation program empowers an entrepreneur with all the skills and knowledge to survive in the competitive business world.

The program, which started in September 2018, has already accepted and successfully trained entrepreneurs in 5 cohorts and launched over 53 startups generating a combined revenue of more than PKR 2 Million. Startups like Eland.pk, DealWow, Khatim, Pukaar, Anarkalistore.com, DriveDea, and many more.

Takhleeq incorporates a purpose-built working space with a well-thought out 6-month incubation curriculum. Entrepreneurs are trained through one-on-one mentoring sessions by renowned industry veterans like Saad Idrees (CEO Daftarkhwan), Kalsoom Lakhani (CEO invest2innovate), Belinda Esterhammer (CEO Springboard) among many more. It aims to attract budding startups and innovative ideas to solve local problems and scale them globally. Apart from the focused curriculum, mentoring and training sessions, state of the art location, startups are provided a wholesome amount as Amazon Web Services credits to host their websites and platforms free of cost for one year.

The program is now accepting applications for the 6th cohort. For this cohort, the following sectors are especially encouraged to apply: E-Commerce, Healthcare/Health-Tech, Media/Art, Social Entrepreneurship,Tourism, Clean-Tech/Environmental Impact, Combatting Pandemics.

Applications are open till the 8th of August 2021.
