One of the largest E-sports company, Electronic Gaming (ESPL), has partnered with a Pakistani company named REDtone Digital Services (RDS), to bring electronic gaming to Pakistan.

Through this new partnership, both companies will be bringing some prominent and highly played games including PUBG Mobile, Valorant, Mobile Legends, among others, officially to the Pakistani audiences.

In the initial phased, both ESPL and RDS will be working on organizing a series of E-sports tournaments across the country.

“The platform will also host multiple international (region-wide) tournaments throughout each month. Players from Pakistan will be able to enter these first-come, first-serve tournaments and play against international contenders and win cash prizes”, a statement issued by the company said.

Speaking about the partnership, Mahnoor Nadeem, CEO of RDS said, “Pakistan is a country at the cusp of a digitisation drive and the young population is making a meaningful contribution towards the transformation process. Bringing competitive E-Sports tournaments to the country is a strategic move”.

“It will not only see our youth experiencing platforms and environments used elsewhere in the world but will also provide them an opportunity to network and compete globally from their homes”, she added.

Meanwhile, CEO and Co-founder of ESPL, Mr. Michael Broda said that the partnership between two companies is an exciting step, adding that “Pakistan is a country with great potential and global champions. The government’s decision of legitimizing esports to be of the same status as regular sports is a fascinating development for the future of esports in the country”.

“With RDS as our partner, their expertise in Pakistan will allow ESPL to effectively connect gamers in Pakistan to our global esports network and bring them many new exciting competitions, building a foundation for future world champions,” said Michael.
